On March 16, 2024, the International Women's Association (IWA) held a meet-up in London. The event was dedicated to the topic of changes in female leadership.
Speakers at the event included Heloise Dos Santos, Development Executive and Director of the IWAcademy, Founder and CEO of Kaishi Consulting, Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development at it.com Domains, Jess Harvey, Founder of Jess Harvey Ltd., Naila Mehrabova, Founder and CEO of Beyond & Furthermore Ltd., and Luisa Edves, International Development Director at Bei.
Heloise has a lot of experience in helping brands find and express their main purpose. She talked about a very important topic: “Your ‘Why’ Matters: Mastering Transparent Communication of Your Brand's Purpose, Intentions, and Impact.’
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to discuss a range of important issues related to female leadership. They explored the current state of female leadership, the challenges women face in leadership positions, strategies for success, and the impact of female leadership on business and society as a whole.
“The business landscape is changing, with more and more women becoming entrepreneurs, CEOs, startup founders, and more. However, this progress isn't happening as quickly as we would all like it to. Despite the growing number of women in leadership positions, there are still significant barriers to entry and obstacles to success. At the IWA, we're trying to change that. Meetings like today help us accelerate progress. We shared our knowledge and practical experience with women in business or those who are just planning to create their own startup. Our goal is for every woman entrepreneur to believe in herself and achieve success,” shared Heloise Dos Santos.
