The International Women's Alliance (IWA) is an organization that aims to empower women in business by strengthening their personal brands and their online presence.
The idea for the IWA emerged at the 2023 We Make Future (WMF) exhibition in Italy. The organizers of the event, along with Hosting Solutions and it.com Domains, came together to create a captivating project to support Italian startups led by women participating in WMF.
The goal of this innovative initiative was to provide Italian startups with the necessary resources and expertise to successfully enter the global market. This project sparked a great deal of interest, particularly among female entrepreneurs, and was featured in the Italian Forbes magazine.
The founder of the IWA is Natalija Japerte, a remarkable woman who has come a long way to achieve her success. At the age of 16, she started earning a living through her musical talent. Later, she reached the position of chief marketer in a large retail chain in Latvia. Then, without knowing the language, she moved to England, where she worked and studied.
Today, Natalija is a successful businesswoman, serving as the Director of Business Development at it.com Domains and the CEO of the IWA. The IWA is a reflection of her experience and knowledge, providing an invaluable resource for the business community.

Building a business is always a challenge, but women entrepreneurs also have to overcome societal stereotypes that can make it difficult for them to succeed. Research shows that women are just as capable of building networks, mentoring, caring for the community, and setting an example as men. However, currently, only one in three businesses is majority owned by women. This situation is changing, but not fast enough.
To speed up the process and help more women become successful entrepreneurs, the IWA was created. The alliance aims to support and strengthen the women's business community by helping them grow their online presence and build stronger personal brands. The IWA provides women with the necessary resources and experience to help them grow their businesses locally and expand into the global market.
“The primary objective of the IWA is to foster a thriving business community for women. We are dedicated to creating a space for businesswomen to enhance their skills, acquire new knowledge, apply it to their practices, make connections, and grow their businesses,” shared Natalija Japerte.
The IWA provides a comprehensive approach to business development, covering all aspects of it—from technical setup to strategic growth. Members of the alliance have access to a wealth of knowledge that helps them effectively navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship.

One of the social initiatives of the alliance is the IWAcademy, which aims to empower women entrepreneurs with business knowledge and support women in countries with underdeveloped economies in obtaining a decent education. Education and skill development are the keys to breaking the cycle of poverty and enabling women to create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
The IWAcademy offers a wide range of courses and training programs that equip women with the knowledge and skills they need to start and grow a business, find new career opportunities, and become leaders in their communities.
Recently, the IWA members had the opportunity to participate in the Business Essentials program at Vancouver Davis College. The six-week course covers business communications, management, marketing, and other important aspects of business. This is a fantastic opportunity for women who want to achieve success in business to gain the necessary knowledge to reach their goals.
The IWA aims to not only teach its members how to build a business and develop an online brand but also to create a platform for networking. The alliance regularly holds various events, both online and offline, where participants have the opportunity to tell about themselves, listen to advice from business experts, and make new acquaintances.
